Jeremiah 3:15 - " And I will give you Pastors according to my own heart which shall feed you with knowledge and understanding".

Pastor and Sis. Adams go above and beyond the call. They are true and prime examples on how to live accordingly to the gospels. 1 timothy 5:17, Paul encourages us to give "double honor", to those who preach and teach.  Certainly, our Pastor and Pastors wife, willingly serve and shepherd their congregations are worthy of appreciation. We have been blessed with a Wonderful Man of God, who preaches the infallible word of God, he does not waiver, to the left or the right. They are always on duty bound, day or night, to serve the congregation to the best of their ability. They love their church and souls. He wants nothing more then for the church to make heaven their home when the lord comes back.

Just a young couple in their late teenage years met in high school. Not knowing exactly what the future would hold for each of them. But the one thing for certain was their love for each other. Pastor was raised in church had a praying mother and father. Sis Adams, wasn't quit as  fortunate to have that. She was going to a Baptist church at the time, while Pastor unfortunately fell away from the church. The world paints a picture, it wants us to see the beauty, the parties, and the good times. But, what it was full of gloom, doom and misinformation,  the chaos that comes with having that "GOOD" time.  But, it was merely no more then a moment of self pleasure that ended in self destruction and sometimes simply no way out. But, so very  THANKFUL for the GRACE and MERCY of GOD. He looked down years later knew who they would become. But it took a lot of humility and a lot of lessons and changes to get to that place.

They then proceeded to build their business. Pastor became an owner and operator of Classic Auto Center. While Sis. Adams, worked in magistrate court. Later during all their endeavors, to build a life together, and a business; They had a little boy Andrew. He became their pride and joy. They couldn't have been happier in those moments. But, what they didn't know at that time, that the happiness they were having GOD had more instore for them. While Sis.Adams, was then attending an Assemblies of GOD, for several years, in which her son was raised in that church; Remember that praying mother that Pastor has? She Prayed and sought God, to see her boys return to him. Without fail, that little hand would raise during prayer " please pray for by boys to return". No prayer goes unheard. You may feel as if you are praying for the same thing day after day with no answers, but hold on because, he will answer and do what he needs to do in his time. Thankfully, he had, had enough of being miserable, and wanted a new life.  He needed the master and he knew exactly where to go to find what he has needed for so very long. He decided to go to church and it was in that service where the Lord changed his heart and had something far better for him. Something with a better outcome, where he wouldn't feel the after affects of the world.  He could barely wait for Elder Pastor. Tienter to be done so he could get to the altar. The altar is a place where chains are loosed, victory is won, miracles are performed and answers can be found. He restored the Joy that he had once lost.

But, he still had a wife and son, who needed the truth. One day he was planning a trip to go to a conference in North Carolina, willingly, Sis. Adams decided she wanted to go. It was in that service, that The Lord reach down in such a powerful way and wrote a new chapter for her life. He refilled her with the wonderful Baptism of the Holy Ghost. They got back home, and still unsure of so much she wanted to be rebaptized, and she wanted to be a family in one church,  but not any church but the First Apostolic Church. But, along came many challenges, decisions, and so many changes. She was in and out some. She was tired of fighting those feelings, she wanted a strong foundation one that couldn't shaken and couldn't fall. She wanted the real connection that only GOD himself can give. Not man made or nothing that would be short term she wanted what was real. Thank you Jesus, with Prayer and supplication, They would come and sit on the pew together. Grow their relationship in him, not separate but together. They raised their son in church. Years later they became youth leaders, and endeavored to give all they had and invest in the kingdom of God.  They stayed active and dedicated their time to serve. Their son then became the drummer in his teenage years. Then not long after Pastor had then became an assistant Pastor, Under the Leading and the wonderful Shepard of Elder Pastor Tienter. In 2006, He then was elected to become the Pastor. As of today. They have built a wonderful life together. Then two years later, their son married Brittany. They Gave them two wonderful Grandchildren, Landyn and Mckinlee.

To look back on their lives, and see how the hand of God was in the midst and all along working on their behalf. God knows what he is doing. We cant rush the process of God. He will do what he promises and he will show up at the right moments. He said that he would never leave us nor forsake us. Since that day, They have been such a blessing to the church. They have always endeavored to be the best. They both live such a beautiful life. They live exactly what he preaches. He doesn't compromise the word. Here at FAC, we are Grateful for the time such as now. That we get to have, a Pastor and Wife, who cares for us and loves with great compassion. They are selfless and humbled. Will go beyond the call to be who the LORD wants them to be.

One of Pastors favorite verses simply says:

" Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths"  Proverbs 3:5-6    You have to trust and have faith that he knows what he is doing. He has great plans for your life. He will keep you and he will sustain you.
